Adios was born in Carmel, Indiana on January 3, 1940. He had an incredible career as a harness racing horse. One of his races held the track record for over 43 years!
As Adios was kept a stallion, and stood at stud, he sired many offspring. He was known not only for his own athletic ability, but for his ability to throw offspring who were just as talented! He stood at stun in Pennsylvania, where he sired almost a dozen horses who had careers that took them to win championship titles just as Adios had.
Many people in harness racing consider Adios to be one of the best studs in the history of the sport. Adios passed away in 1965 after a stellar career, having sired nearly 600 offspring.
